Lisa Goodman

Lisa Goodman joined KEEN Chicago’s Board of Directors in the spring of 2025, inspired by her teenage daughter's long-term volunteer role with the organization. After witnessing firsthand the impact of KEEN’s mission, she felt compelled to continue supporting its work as her daughter heads off to college.

Lisa is a retired educator who dedicated over 20 years to Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School, where she worked in a variety of roles supporting students from Pre-K through 8th grade. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a focus on Learning Differences and a Certificate in Gifted Education from Northwestern University, as well as a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Michigan.

Passionate about learning and embracing new challenges, Lisa is honored to deepen her involvement with KEEN Chicago. She has cherished the connections she has built with KEEN families while volunteering and looks forward to contributing to the organization's continued growth.

In her free time, Lisa enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She is a proud parent of two young adult children and is excited for this next chapter of service with KEEN Chicago.
