Kirstin Starkey
Board of Directors
Kirstin serves as vice president of human resources at Bulley & Andrews, a Chicago-based national construction firm, where she brings more than 30 years of experience attracting and retaining top talent. A dedicated HR leader, she is particularly proud of developing a robust internship program that creates meaningful pathways for students and recent graduates pursuing construction careers. Kirstin’s strong commitment to building inclusive workplaces is demonstrated through her efforts to advance diversity, equity, and employee engagement initiatives that empower individuals and enhance organizational culture.
Originally from the Detroit area, Kirstin has a lifelong passion for service and community impact. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University and later completed her Master of Arts at Walsh College. She also holds the Senior Certified Professional (SCP) designation from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Kirstin believes strongly in the connection between physical and mental well-being. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, especially walking her dog, Kobe. A devoted Detroit sports fan, she can often be found cheering on the Lions with her family during football season.
