Nirali Chauhan, MPH

Board of Directors

Nirali (she/her) is a medical student at University of Illinois at Chicago interested in specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  Her professional interests include disability advocacy, addressing the root causes of health disparities, and person-centered healing.  Her work with youth audiences has included designing and teaching interactive STEM courses in New England and facilitating health education sessions in Chicago Public Schools.  As a meditation teacher (MTT-200), Nirali is a facilitator for The LoveYourBrain Foundation's Mindset series, a virtual mindfulness group discussion program for folks with traumatic brain injury and their caregivers.  She also sits on the advisory board for LoveYourBrain.  She is very honored to have started as a KEEN volunteer and now be on the Board, where she hopes to help KEEN further its impactful work.

 

Nirali earned her BA in Public Health Studies from Johns Hopkins University and her Master's in Public Health from Dartmouth College.

 

In her free time, Nirali loves to run bake sale fundraisers, spend time with her cat Louie in their South Loop home, and travel.
