We invite you to join a vibrant, passionate board that cares about providing nurturing, developmental, and FUN activities for youth with disabilities. 

The KEEN Chicago Board of Directors is accepting applications for board positions.  If you believe your professional expertise and experience can help further our growing, in-demand organization’s mission by assisting with financial oversight, development, volunteering, and/or general business support, we look forward to hearing from you.
 
Our Board Members add value to our organization through monthly meetings, participating in committees, participating in our annual fundraiser, and volunteering occasionally with our athletes.  The impact you will make on the lives of KEEN athletes and their families will be very rewarding. 


Board Members are Committed to:

  1. Learning our organization’s mission, policies, programs, and needs
  2. Serving as active advocates and ambassadors for the KEEN Chicago
  3. Engaging in identifying and securing the financial resources and partnerships necessary to further our mission
  4. Leveraging our connections, networks, and resources to help secure further activities and opportunities for our end users
  5. Developing collective action to fully achieve KEEN Chicago’s mission
  6. Securing or committing meaningful financial donation
  7. Identifying personal connections that can benefit KEEN Chicago’s organization’s fundraising and reputational standing
  8. Preparing for, attending, and conscientiously participating in board meetings
  9. Participating fully in one or more committees
