Megyn Byrnes

Megyn became a part of the KEEN Chicago family when she joined KEEN as the Executive Director in 2018.   During her time as the ED, she helped update session operations, parent and volunteer communication plans and the volunteer orientation.  Her passion for working with KEEN athletes is evident when you see her in the gym. Her commitment to the KEEN Chicago mission continues now as a Board Member and member of the Coaches Committee.

Megyn has dedicated her career to raising funds and awareness for various non-profit organizations.  For more than 20 years she has directed events ranging from multi-day cycling and walking events to family 5Ks, which have raised millions of dollars in support of organizations across North America including JDRF, City of Hope, the Avon Foundation for Women, BC Cancer Foundation and the Whitman Walker Clinic.

Originally from New York, Megyn is a former Division I gymnast for the University of Maryland. Still an avid athlete, she plays golf, softball and kickball and loves taking part in many of the great road races Chicago has to offer.  She and her wife Danielle, along with their two dogs, live in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago and are huge White Sox fans.
