Brian Wilson

Brian found Keen after hours of researching nonprofits operating in Chicago.  It was Keen's unique focus on sports and exercise that distinguished it from other nonprofits, and which resonated with Brian, as Brian's sister has experience a great deal of joy and friendship from her own involvement in athletics.

After volunteering at Keen's Loyola sessions, Brian saw not only the positive effect Keen had on the athletes and their families, but the enormous potential Keen has to grow its presence in Chicago.    Brian is a firm believer that Keen's message will resonate with others as strongly as it did with him.  He is honored to be a member of Keen's Associate Board, where he can participate in that growth firsthand.

When not volunteering, Brian spends as much time as he can with his two young boys, and works as a business litigation attorney at the firm Fox, Swibel, Levin & Carroll in Chicago.  If he's able to find any time outside of family, work and volunteering, he spends it writing, being a film buff and playing as much tennis as Chicago weather allows.
